MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

·
Identifies, initiates, coordinates, and completes maintenance
process improvement opportunities.
·
Develops Reliability-Centered maintenance processes and shares with
other sites.
·
Develops expertise in predictive maintenance technologies such as
vibration analysis, infrared thermography, etc.
·
Implement Maintenance Excellence initiatives, goals, and costs, to
improve the overall effectiveness of the maintenance department.
·
Utilize analytical and engineering skills to identify and reduce /
eliminate repeated equipment failures.
·
Works with Engineering on PSM implementation, i.e., work practices,
design and repair standards, management of change, Mechanical
Integrity, etc…
·
Performs FMEA’s and RCFA’s to ensure long term maintenance equipment
problems are appropriately investigated with solutions implemented.
·
Assists with department budgeting and expenditure forecasting.
·
Facilitates positive change in the Maintenance organization by
pro-actively driving department initiatives. Acts as a change agent
in implementing cross-functional plant business objectives.
·
Reviews major purchases and capital projects to optimize life cycle
costs.
·
Assists in tracking metrics and generating the monthly reports for
area of responsibility. Assists maintenance and operations personnel
by troubleshooting and resolving equipment problems as necessary.
·
Provides input into capital budget to drive improved reliability.
·
Proactively identifies development opportunities to build
reliability expertise both personally and within department.
·
Provides independent quality control of in-house and outside
contract services.
·
Develops personal expertise in various maintenance/reliability
functions and acts as subject matter expert as necessary.
·
Strives to improve equipment uptime, quality and speed rates.
·
Strives to reduce maintenance cost, and ensures the timely reporting
of expenditures. Provides leadership in the PM/PdM processes.
·
Develops and supports Maintenance Excellence initiatives as
required.
·
Achieve annual goals and objectives.
·
BS
in an Engineering discipline
·
7-10 years engineering experience preferably in maintenance in a
process manufacturing environment.
·
Certification in technical skills, a plus (Vibration analysis,
Thermography, NDT, etc.).
·
Proactive problem-solving approach focused on action.
·
Ability to organize and prioritize.
·
Computer proficiency including SAP.
·
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
·
